Homeless Outreach
Our volunteer teams go out to the streets DAILY to reach the lost souls of Des Moines, Federal Way, and other areas of South King County. We go out each day to feed, clothe, and help with transportation and case management needs for the homeless in these areas.
Our volunteers take sack lunches, bibles, clothing and hygiene items as we have them and distribute these items to the homeless and needy. As the weather gets cold each year, we also hand out blankets, boots, shoes and other winter items.
We feed the homeless in our community through this outreach and also with hot meals that we serve from our church multiple times each week.
In addition to clothing, essentials, and food, we also provide transportation to necessary appointments, shelters, and other places these individuals may need help getting to.
Our volunteers have gone out to reach the homeless every day of the week since 2020, serving 10,967 people and counting!
